My husband has found corn hole. This summer there have been games every Tuesday on the lawn next to Tony C's so every Tuesday we are on 3rd Ave. We have been to all but 1 restaurant on the street, Tony C's has become our favorite.
The drinks are pricy in this whole area but here there is at least a range and if you can't find a beer to try then you are far pickier than I. I have been loving the sangria this summer just about everywhere but this is a really good one. My husband and I have both been ordering the salads. They are a light meal before sitting outside. They do lettuce justice here, for $8 you can get the best made Caesar salad you will find in the area. It is huge with large shaved slices of cheese. I have been ordering the chopped salad, it is a meal even without ordering additional protein on it. The buffalo chicken wrap is also a fantastic selection.
My initial rating was 4 stars but the ladies who are bartending have bumped this up to 5 stars. They work well as a team and are right on top of everything. They are know their drinks and are just friendly to chat with.
I never thought I would say this.. but I may miss corn hole season on 3rd Ave. -

I love this place for the great food and bar with ginormous screens and awesome customer service in between. They really have some awesome food, I've been twice this week. I've tried the calamari which is festive, spicy and perfect. The "#25" burger is a hearty beast that I had to conquer... delicious and obviously filling. It's huge with eggs, bacon and several other things that make this a must have.
This is a sports bar and exactly where you want to be to watch whatever sport. Tonight... it's the Stanley cup finals which Boston is currently playing and they just won!!! I don't even watch hockey but the energy here has got me as excited as any other Boston fan. Maybe it's the energy, maybe it's the cocktails... I've tried all of the martinis because they just know how to make them here and havnt disappointed yet so for that reason alone, I'll be back! -

4 of us went there on Saturday around 4:30. We walked in and the host didn't ask us if we wanted a table, so we just headed towards the high tops. A server redirected us back to the host as we needed to be "seated". Maybe the host thought we were headed for the bar but he never actually asked us. Plenty of tables available at that time, but by 6:00 the tables and bar were almost full. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The cosmo was watery and syrupy and the truffle fries had way too much truffle oil poured over the fries, so they were pretty mushy. The burgers were good. The buffalo chicken tenders were ok.

This place is whatevs. Not many veggie options. The veggie flatbread is horrible. DO NOT get it. It was so bland and had no salt what so ever. The staff was great! The food sucks.

Great tv's but food lacking and beer way overpriced. Better options in the area.
Visited Tony C's on a Tuesday night with our party of 8 promptly seated by gracious hostesses.
Was waited on by a good server who was responsive even while juggling about a haf dozen tables.
Ordered a round of beers (8x$9=$$$) plus apps.
Calamari was tasty, buffalo wings came as honey bbq ( but were very good) and had 6 or 7 wings in total, spinach dip good and warm and pretzels were just ok.
Dinners consisted of burgers, tacos and a salad and all were ok but fries were very good.
Another round and we called it a night. Total bill for apps, light dinner and a couple rounds of beers,$ 300.00
Next timw we'll go to the border cafe, splurge and maybe , just maybe...hit the $150 mark with same group.
Summary, wildly overpriced, menu hasn't changed in five years and its a process of elimination to pick your dinner selection. If it wasn't for the extra large tv's, the place would have went out of business long ago.
